Welcome to the web site for the Association of Regional Center Agencies. ARCA is utilizing the World Wide Web to provide information for California's 21 Regional Centers, persons with developmental disabilities and their families, advocacy groups and organizations, and other interested persons. We hope that ARCA's continued efforts, including the development of this web site, will strengthen the relationship among those who ensure that persons with developmental disabilities live full and productive lives.

As a former regional center director and state employee, I have more than 25 years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and mental health. I have encountered first hand significant changes affecting Californians with developmental disabilities. In my role as Executive Director at ARCA, I benefit from the opportunity to work at the statewide level and coordinate information to and among those persons affecting the regional center system. I look forward to using this web site as a vehicle to share valuable information. 

Persons with developmental disabilities are our number one priority. Regional centers proudly serve more than 186,000 persons with developmental disabilities and their families throughout California.
